I suspect that dozens, if not hundreds of cases involving that particular thing is replete with rulings of all kinds.

5. It's the same as some rightwing loonytarian/conservatiave demanding that the "reading" of the constitution be "literal" so that everyone can make their own determination as to what the constitution means.

6. Supposedly that would eliminate the USSC and the federal courts paving the way for money and power to legitimize (again) industry and the wealthy to screw the people.
